# Control Sale Return for Expired Lots

To control Sale return for Expired lots, validation options are added in Logic admin under Sale return .

**1 ) Allow sale return after Lot expiry date (days)**– This option is used to define the days after which the sale return will be allowed after lot expiry date .\
**2 ) Choose action for sale return after Lot expiry date-** This option will allow to prompt or disallow sale return.

**Case 1**– Go to **Logic admin** and click on Sale return in **Global settings**. Enter the Number of days after which sale return will be allowed even after the lot is expired and choose action for sale return after lot expiry as **“Prompt”.**

As a result of above chosen settings in Logic admin, the message shown in following image will prompt stating **” This Lot has been expired more than 10 days ,Do you want to continue?”** .You can click on yes to continue or no to cancel .

**Case 2**– Go to Logic admin and click on Sale return in Global settings. Enter the Number of days after which sale return will be allowed even after the lot is expired and choose action for sale return after lot expiry as **“Do not allow sale return”.**

As a result of above chosen settings in Logic admin, the lot expiry message shown in following image will prompt stating that **“Lot has been expired more than 10 days, cannot allow sale return"** as the valid days are exceeded after the lot expiry.
