In this tutorial, we’ll walk you through the complete installation process of Logic ERP software along with SQL Server, ensuring a smooth and error-free setup.
Open your web browser and go to:
Click on My Account.
Log in using your username and password provided at the time of registration.
Navigate to the Resource Center.
Download the Logic Installer.
Choose and download the latest compatible SQL version (ensure compatibility with your operating system).
Avoid installing Logic ERP in the C: Drive.
Create two new folders (preferably in D: or E: drive):
Logic
Logic Dump
Move the downloaded setup files to the Logic Dump folder for future use.
Open the Control Panel.
Navigate to the Region Settings → Set Format to English (India).
Click on Additional Settings:
Set Short date format: DD-MM-YY
Set Long date format: DD-MM-YYYY
Click Apply and OK to save changes.
Extract the Logic setup file.
Right-click on the installer and select Run as Administrator.
If prompted to install .NET Framework, click Download and Install.
Once installed, run the Logic setup again.
Follow the on-screen instructions:
Select the Server
Choose your purchased product.
Select the previously created Logic folder as the installation path.
Enter your Username, Password, and paste the "Product key" provided during registration.
Complete the installation. The installer will guide you through every step.
Extract the SQL Server setup file.
Run setup and select New SQL Server installation.
Accept the license terms and click Next.
Select features as shown in the guide (untick unnecessary options).
Choose Default Instance.
Set the SQL Server Browser startup type to Automatic.
Select Mixed Mode Authentication and create a secure password.
Follow the prompts to complete the installation.
Extract and run the SSMS setup.
Click Install and wait for the process to complete.
Open SQL Server Configuration Manager.
Go to SQL Server Network Configuration → Protocols for MSSQLSERVER.
Enable any disabled protocols.
Open SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS):
Copy the server's name
Connect using the username and password you created earlier
Launch Logic Update Manager.
Click on Setup Databases.
Browse to define the Company Info path:
Copy it from the MDB Back folder into your Logic
folder.
Enter the server's name, username, and password.
The Company Info and Logic DB will be successfully attached.
You’ve now successfully installed Logic ERP and SQL Server and connected the software to the database. Launch the software and begin using Logic ERP.
