How to Globally Disable Customer Filter in Sale Return History?

In this tutorial, we will walk through how to enable a setting in Logic ERP that allows the Sale Return History window to display all relevant sale transactions for an item, regardless of the customer. This helps in identifying article-level transaction history comprehensively.

Enable the Setting in Logic Admin

  • Open Logic Admin.

  • Go to Global Settings.

  • Navigate to the "Sale Return Settings" section.

  • Locate and enable the option labeled: "Do Not Filter for Customer in Sale Return History".

This setting is also available under individual Sale Bill Configuration for each billing series. However, enabling it via Global Settings allows you to apply it across all series and branches in a single step.

  • After enabling, click Save.

  • Restart the software to apply the changes.

Perform a Sale Return Entry

  • Create a Sale Return Voucher.

  • Enter the item details.

  • Upon selecting the lot, the software will display the sale history for that article.

You will now see all previous bills where this item was sold — not just those related to the selected customer.

Conclusion

By enabling the "Do Not Filter for Customer in Sale Return History" option, you gain a broader view of all transactions related to a specific item. This improves transparency and simplifies return processing when the customer's original transaction details are unknown or unavailable.
