## How to Restrict Multiple Rates for the Same Item in a Sale Bill

This tutorial explains how to enable a setting that prevents users from entering different rates for the same item within a single sales bill.

### **Access Global Settings**

* Navigate to the **Logic** folder on your system.
* Run **Logic Admin** to access configurations.
* Locate the **Global Settings** option within Logic Admin.
* Go to the **Sales Settings 2** tab under the Sale.
* Locate the option: **"Do not allow Different Rates for Same Item in Billing"**
* Check the checkbox to activate the restriction.

* Click **Save** to apply the changes.
* **Restart** the application to ensure the setting takes effect.

### **Implement the Configuration**

* Open the billing window and try entering the **same item multiple times with different rates**.
* When you attempt to save the bill:
  * The software will **prevent the bill from being saved**.
  * An **error message** will appear indicating that a different rate for the same item exists.
