In this tutorial, we’ll guide you through the process of automatically generating item descriptions during item creation using a powerful formula in Logic ERP. This feature enhances efficiency, ensures consistency, and eliminates manual data entry errors.
Navigate to the Setups/Setup Items and then click on "Setup Items Multiple Packs/Sizes".
Click on the Configuration.
Locate the option "Item Description - 1 Formula" under the Configuration option-2 tab.
Use the available fields to construct a formula based on your requirements.
In this example, we have created a formula that generates item descriptions by combining the Item Name, Shade Name, Gender, and MRP.
Once configured, click Save to apply the changes.
Create a new item and observe how the item description is automatically generated using the formula.
The system ensures that every item follows a standardized description format, enhancing accuracy and reducing manual input efforts.
