A new phase added in Scheme Campaign Phase column attribute i.e., “Phase 2.” Earlier when there were two schemes, then they don’t have any effect on each other. It means that the discount given on one campaign does not affect the slab value of another campaign.
For example, there’s an item on which a customer will get a discount of 2% when they purchase a minimum value of it. Also, there’s another scheme on it i.e., when the billing amount of that particular item is greater than Rs.5000, then the customer will get one carry bag for free. In this case, both the schemes will have no effect on each other and the customer will receive the carry bag for free even if the bill amount is less than Rs.5000 from the first scheme.
But now, with the Scheme Campaign Phase 2 option, you can interlink two scheme campaigns with each other.
For example, there’s an item which is common between two schemes. In one scheme (Phase 1), when a customer buys an item, he/she will get 2% discount on it. In the second scheme (Phase 2), he/she will get 1 carry bag for free if the bill amount is a minimum of Rs 5000. Now, when the sale bill will generate, the Phase 2 scheme will firstly see that whether the total bill amount is greater than 5000 or not after the Phase 1 scheme got applied. If the bill amount>5000, then the customer will get 1 carry bag for free, and if bill amount<5000, then only Phase 1 scheme will work.
Suppose there’s a scheme: NEW GROSS, whose Slab Value is set to Gross Value – Discounts. The following picture shows that when a customer purchases the item with a minimum billing amount of 5000 (including discounts), they will get 1 free item assigned to this scheme.
There’s another scheme: 2006_ITEMWISE as shown in the picture below. It shows that the customer will get a 2% CD at the minimum purchase of 1 item assigned to this scheme.
Now, suppose there are 2 times in the Sale Bill, as shown in the picture below:
When you will click on the Save button, the Discount Summary window will open. In this window, you can select the discount type that will apply to the bill.
In the picture below, you can see the Scheme Details associated with the items. As you can see that NEW GROSS scheme belongs to Phase 2 & 2006_ITEMWISE scheme belongs to Phase 1. It means that the customer will get a 2% C.D. & discount of Rs6, as the total bill amount is greater than Rs. 5000.
In case the total bill was less than Rs 5000, then the NEW GROSS scheme would never be applied.
