This tutorial explains how to enable and configure a setting that prompts during a sale return if the lot/item was sold more than a specified time ago.
Open Logic Admin.
Go to Global Settings.
Navigate to the Sale Return settings tab.
Locate and enable the option: "Prompt in Sale Return if Lot/Item Sale is More Than Defined Months/Days".
Define the time period:
Enter the number of months or days after which the prompt should appear.
(Example: Set to 15 days for a 15-day limit).
Click Save.
Restart the software to apply the new settings.
Open the Sale Return module and begin creating a voucher.
Enter the item details.
When you select the lot, the system will:
Display a prompt if the item was sold more than the defined time ago.
Show the last transaction details of the lot.
This feature helps users track and verify the age of returned items, ensuring better control and validation during the sale return process.
