In this tutorial, we will explore a powerful feature in Logic ERP—automatically setting up items as perishable or expiry items by default. This ensures accurate inventory tracking and reduces manual effort.
Navigate to the Setups/Setup Items and then click on "Setup Items Multiple Packs/Sizes".
Click on the Configuration.
Locate the option and enable "Perishable/Expiry Item (Default)." under the Configuration option-1 tab.
Open the New Item creation window.
Enter the required item details and proceed.
As you can see, the Perishable Expiry Item option is already ticked by default, eliminating the need for manual selection.
If you do not want to create perishable items by default, disable the setting by unchecking the option in the configuration.
This ensures flexibility in inventory management based on your business needs.
