How to Enable Prompt for Items Exceeding Delivery Date During Purchase Order Retrieval?

This tutorial guides you through the steps to enable a system prompt that appears when retrieving a Purchase Order (PO) past its delivery date during purchase entry.


Access Logic Admin Settings

  • Open the Logic Folder and run Logic Admin.

  • Go to Global Settings.

  • Navigate to the Purchase tab.

  • Locate and enable the option: "Prompt in Purchase in case PO is Beyond Delivery Date".

Let's keep this feature enable to observe its impact in Purchase.
  • Click Save to confirm the changes.

  • Restart the software to activate the new configuration.


Validate the Configuration

  • Open the Purchase Entry module.

  • Retrieve a Purchase Order with a delivery date in the past.

  • A prompt will appear displaying Items beyond the delivery date.

As you can see in the picture, the software has displayed a prompt indicating that the Item is beyond the delivery date.
  • Choose to either proceed with the PO or cancel the retrieval.

You can choose to either proceed with retrieving the Purchase Order or cancel the operation.
