In this tutorial, we’ll guide you step-by-step on how to update Logic ERP software using the Logic Update Manager. Watch till the end to ensure the update process completes without issues.
Sometimes, due to a system glitch, the Logic Update Manager might be disabled. Follow these steps to activate it:
Right-click on the Logic ERP shortcut icon.
Select “Open File Location.”
In the Logic folder, open the "Updations" folder.
In the search bar, search for Logic.UpdateManager.
Right-click on Logic.UpdateManager and select “Run as Administrator.”
To ensure the Update Manager always runs with proper privileges:
Right-click on Logic.UpdateManager and click on Properties.
Navigate to the Compatibility tab.
Tick the checkbox: “Run this program as an administrator.”
Click Apply, then OK.
Right-click the main Logic ERP software icon.
Click Properties > Advanced.
Tick “Run as Administrator”, then apply the changes.
Once the Update Manager is activated:
Open the Logic Update Manager from the taskbar.
Click on Options.
To download the latest update, click the blue cloud/download icon.
Confirm by clicking “Yes” when prompted to download from the server.
The files will begin downloading. This may take a few minutes.
Upon clicking "Yes," a prompt will appear to initiate the download. Click on "Start" to proceed.
Once the download is complete:
You’ll see a prompt asking to install the downloaded files.
Click Yes.
Installation takes about 10–15 minutes.
After installation:
You’ll receive a prompt to run database patches.
Click Yes — do not skip this step.
It will take 5–10 minutes to complete.
A confirmation message will appear once it's done.
If you face an "Error while attaching database" during patching:
Exit the Logic Update Manager completely.
Re-open the file location of Logic ERP.
Go to the Update folder.
Run Logic.UpdateManager as Administrator.
Go to Options, then click Run Database Patches.
Confirm by clicking Yes.
Once completed, a confirmation message will appear indicating that the patches were successfully applied.
Your Logic ERP software is now successfully updated and fully operational.
