# Do Not Allow Supervisor Login

## How to Disable Login for Supervisor Users?

In this tutorial, we will demonstrate how to **restrict supervisor login access** in **Logic ERP**. This feature enhances security by disabling the shortcut that allows supervisor or admin users to log in during regular operations.

***

### **Understand the Default Behavior**

* By default, pressing **Shift + F3** on any screen allows an **administrator or supervisor** to log in for authorization purposes.

* This shortcut can be useful, but in certain environments, it may pose a security risk if not controlled.

### **Enable the Restriction Setting**

* Open **Logic Admin** and go to **Global Settings**.
* Go to **Other** section and click to "User Rights Settings".
* Locate and enable the option labeled as: **“Do not allow supervisor login”**

* After enabling the option, **save the configuration**.
* **Restart the Logic ERP software** for the change to take effect.

***

### **Verify the Restriction**

* Try using the **Shift + F3** shortcut on a transaction or voucher screen.
* The software will **no longer prompt** for a supervisor login.
* All administrative overrides must now be handled through pre-set user permissions or workflows.

***

### C**onclusion**

Enabling the **“Do not allow supervisor login”** option is an effective way to tighten control over administrative actions within Logic ERP. This prevents unauthorized or accidental use of supervisor credentials during regular operations.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://kb.logicerp.com/logic-erp-learning-hub-tutorials-and-best-practices/user-access/logic-global-admin/others/user-rights-settings/do-not-allow-supervisor-login.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
