## How to Set a Prompt for Rate Change in Lot/Batch during Purchase?
In this tutorial, we will guide you through enabling the **Lot Rate Change Prompt** in Logic ERP to ensure accurate rate updates during purchase transactions.
### **Enable the Lot Rate Change Prompt**
* Navigate to the **Purchase Voucher Configuration**.
* Locate and enable the **Prompt for Change in Rates of Lots** option.
* Save the configuration.
Let's keep this feature enable to observe its impact on Billing
### **Implement in a Purchase Voucher**
* Create a new **Purchase Voucher**.
* Enter an item with a batch that previously had a **basic rate of ₹999**, but now the rate has been updated to **₹1000**.
* Upon entering the item, the software will trigger a prompt notifying you of the **Lot Basic Rate Change**.
### **Action on the Prompt**
* If you want to proceed with the updated rate, **click "Yes"**.
* If you prefer to retain the previous rate, **click "No"** to continue without updating.
This feature helps ensure transparency in rate changes, allowing users to review and confirm updates before finalizing the transaction.
