# Department Name Lock in Purchase Order

You can now Lock the Department name in Purchase Order if not Required.

Open Purchase order Configuration and Click on column locks under general option. Tick to Lock the department Name and save the changes. You can then observe that the Department name field will disappear from the Header details of Purchase order.
