## How to Set Margins / Borders / Page Layout in Document Printing?

In this tutorial, we’ll walk you through how to configure **print borders and margins** in Logic ERP.

### Review the Print

* First, take a print preview of the bill.
* As you’ll notice, no border has been set yet.

### Set Borders in Multiple Printing Configuration

* Go to **Sale Multiple Printing Configuration**.
* Select the relevant **printing configuration**.
* To create a border for the **header**

* Click on **Insert Shapes → Rectangle**.
  * Place it to form the border.
  * Expand and adjust as needed.
  * Save changes.

* Repeat the same steps for the **footer**.

#### Configure Margins

* Open the **Page Formatting** option.
* Define the **top and bottom margins** for the page.

* Save the configuration and preview the bill again.\
  The print now displays with the defined borders.

#### Explore Additional Print Options

* **Font** → Change the font style used in printing.

* **Save/Export** → Export the bill in **RTF** or **PDF**.

* **Printer Page Settings** → Configure page setup options such as:
  * Display page numbers (choose position & alignment).
  * Change orientation (portrait/landscape).
  * Adjust page margins.

### Borders & Margins in Designer Printing

* Navigate to Continuous Printing and select **"Sales Bill Print Designer and Printing"**.
* Select the configuration and sales bill, then click **Refresh**.
* Open the **Design Window**

* &#x20;Click on File and then select **Page Setup**.
  * Define paper format.
  * Set orientation (portrait/landscape).
  * Adjust margins.

### Apply Borders in Designer Printing

* Go to the **Border Tab**.
* Choose the type of frame (e.g., Box Frame).
* Customize the border by:
  * Adjusting distance.
  * Increasing line thickness.
  * Selecting a preferred color.

* Save and preview to confirm changes.

As you can see, the borders, margins, and formatting have been successfully applied to the bill.
