How to Manage Barcode Printing in the Production Process?

In this tutorial, we will explore how barcode printing is managed during the production process in Logic ERP.


Access to Barcode Label Printing

  • Navigate to the Reports/Queries module and expand Item Reports.

  • Open Barcode Label Printing.


Select Production Barcode Type

  • Click on the Purchase/Sale Barcode tab.

  • In the Purchase/Sale dropdown, choose Production.

  • You will now see two barcode generation options:

Production

  • Used when items have already been added to stock.

  • Prints barcodes for completed and approved production items.

Production (Without Add in Stock)

  • Used for in-progress production items.

  • Generates barcodes without updating stock, ideal for items still under processing.

Select the required option by checking the corresponding box.


Choose Production Entry

  • Select the desired production entry from the list.

  • Click OK.

  • All items associated with that production entry will now be displayed.


Generate Barcode

  • Select the item(s) for barcode printing.

  • Click the Create button.

  • Choose the print configuration or design template.

You will get two options:

  • Yes → Directly prints the barcode.

  • No → Opens the barcode label for editing or previewing before printing.


Once the configuration is finalized, proceed with printing. Your barcode is generated successfully.
