## How To Make Entry of MRP Mandatory While Creating Items in Logic ERP Software?

In this tutorial, we will walk you through the process of ensuring that items cannot be created without specifying the MRP in your ERP system. This feature helps maintain data accuracy, prevents errors, and ensures compliance with pricing regulations.

### **Setting Up Configuration:**

* Navigate to the Setups/Setup Items and then click on "Setup Items Multiple Packs/Sizes".
* Click on the Configuration.
* Locate the option "Do Not Allow Entry W/o MRP" under the Configuration option - 1.

### Steps to Ensure Data Integrity

* Now, if you create an item without entering the MRP, the software will display a prompt: **"Entry Not Allowed Without MRP...."**

* Once you enter the MRP and save again, the software will allow you to proceed without any prompts.

### Conclusion

Implement these steps to prevent item creation without MRP, aiding in upholding robust data management within your ERP system.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://kb.logicerp.com/logic-erp-learning-hub-tutorials-and-best-practices/setups/setup-items/setup-items-multiple-pack-sizes/configuration-multiple-packs-sizes/configuration-options-1/do-not-allow-entry-w-o-mrp.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
