How to Disable Creation and Modification of Retail Customers in Sale Bill?

In this tutorial, we will explain how to disable the creation or modification of retail customers directly from the billing screen in Logic ERP.

Access Global Settings in Logic Admin

• Open Logic Admin.

• Navigate to Global Settings.

• Under POS Options, go to the POS Options 1 section.

• Locate and enable the option labeled as:

Do not allow retail customer creation or modification

Let's proceed with this option turned on to understand its practical implications in Voucher entry.

• Click Save, then restart the software to apply changes.

Effect of This Feature:

• Open the Sale Bill – Touch Screen window.

• Try creating or modifying a retail customer.

As illustrated above, the Save button is disabled — preventing new additions or edits to retail customer details.

• You will see the Save button is disabled.

  • This ensures that no new retail customers can be added.

  • Existing customer details also cannot be edited.
