How to Set Up Branch and Company / Group Wise Targets?
This tutorial explains how to define sales targets for branches based on Company (Brand) or Group in Logic ERP, set commission percentages, and analyze target vs achievement performance through reports.
Open Target Setup Window
Follow the steps below to access the target configuration screen.
Navigation Path
Go to Main Menu
Open the Setup Module
Navigate to Branch Setup
Click Setup Branch + Company/Group Wise Targets

This will open the target configuration window where branch-wise targets can be defined.
Select Branch and Target Criteria
Now configure the target based on the required criteria.
Select the Branch
Choose the Branch for which you want to define the target.

Choose Target Criteria
You can define targets based on:
Brand (Company)
Group
Brand + Group

Example: If you want to set the target for a specific company, select the Brand from the available list.

Define the Target Period
Next, select the period for which the target will be applicable.
Select Period Format
You can define targets based on:
Month + Year
Yearly Format

In this example, we are using Month + Year format.
Select the specific month for which the sales target will be defined.

Enter Target Details
Now enter the required target values and commission details.
Define Target Based On
You can set targets in:
Value
Quantity
Both Value and Quantity

Set Commission Percentage
Define the commission percentage.

The system will calculate the commission automatically based on achieved sales.
Click Save to store the target configuration.
Import Targets Using Excel
Logic ERP also allows you to import target details through Excel, which is useful for bulk data entry.
Steps to Import Data
Go to Entry Mode
Click Import from Excel

Use the Excel Help option to understand the required column format

Prepare the Excel file accordingly
Click Browse and select the Excel sheet from your system
Click Refresh to load the data
Click Save

This method allows quick and efficient target setup for multiple records.
Automatic Commission Calculation
Once the targets are defined:
As Sales Bills are generated during the selected month,
The system automatically tracks sales performance.

Based on the achieved sales value, the system calculates the applicable commission percentage automatically.
View Target vs Achievement Report
To analyze the performance against defined targets, use the reporting module.
Navigation Path
Go to Reports & Queries
Open Customer + Item Sales Analysis
Select Branch + Company/Group Wise Target vs Achievement Analysis Report
Apply the required filters and generate the report.
Understanding the Report
The report provides a clear overview of:
Total Sales for the Month
Defined Target
Achievement Against Target
Commission Calculated Based on Sales

This report helps you:
Compare actual performance with targets
Track sales progress
Evaluate commission earnings
