• Open the Configuration window.

• Navigate to Other Settings.

• Locate the option labeled as "Lot Code Pre-Fix" field.

• Select or enter the required Lot Code Pre-Fix

  • (for example: “S”).

• This option allows you to define a specific prefix that will be used while scanning lot codes.

Configure Item Code Scanning Mode

• In the same configuration screen, find the Item Code As option.

• Set Item Code As = Lot Code.

This step is mandatory. Without setting Item Code As to Lot Code, the system will not recognize lot codes during scanning.

• Save the configuration.

Use Lot Code Pre-Fix During Stock Transfer

• Create a new godown-wise stock transfer voucher.

• Select Godown From and Godown To.

• Scan or enter the lot code along with the defined prefix (example: S12345).

Result:
