How to Show Only Pending Sale Challans in Challan Modification Search?

By default, when you open the Challan Modification Search, Logic ERP displays all Challans — including those that have already been retrieved in Sale Vouchers.

To simplify this process, you can enable a setting to show only pending Challans, making it easier to manage and update relevant records.

Default Behavior

• In the Challan modification search list. It shows all Sale Challans.

• This includes both:

  • Pending Challans

  • Retrieved/Processed Challans

As you can see in the picture, both Pending and Retrieved Challans are showing here.

Process to Enable the Option

To display only unprocessed (pending) Challans in the search:

• Navigate to the installation path of Logic ERP.

• Launch the "Logic Admin" application.

As mentioned above, search for Logic Admin and open it.

• Enter the Admin credentials if prompted.

• In the Logic Admin panel, go to Global Settings.

• Under Sales Settings - 1, Locate the option: "Display only Pending Challans in Sale Challan Modification Search"

• Enable this checkbox.

Let's keep this feature enable to observe it's impact in Billing.

• Click Save and restart the Logic ERP software.

Check the Modification Window

• Open the Sale Challan Modification window.

  • By Right-Clicking on the Modify Button (If the Modify button isn’t visible, press ALT + INS to make it appear.)

• Now, you’ll notice that the search list displays only pending Challans — those that haven't been billed yet.

Right now, you can see that only the pending challans are showing here.
