How to Create a 18% GST Tax Slab in Logic ERP?

In this tutorial, we’ll demonstrate how to set up 18% tax types for both sales and purchases for apparel and footwear in Logic ERP.

Configure Tax Types for Sales

• Navigate to Setup\Setup Taxes and then select "Setup Tax Types (Sale)"

• Enter the Tax Description: GST Sale Apparel 18%.

• Link it with the GST Sale 18% Account.

• Select the Sales Tax Account → SGST Output 9%.

• Define Tax 1 = 9% and Tax 3 = 9%.

• In the Tax 1 Account column, assign CGST Output 9%.

• Enable Use for GST and set GST Type as CGST/SGST.

Configure Inclusive Sales Tax Types

• Define Tax 1 = 9%, Tax 2 = 18%, and Tax 3 = 9%.

• Keep the remaining settings the same as above.

Configure IGST Sales Tax Types

• Enter Tax Description: IGST Sale Apparel 18%.

• In the Sales Account column, link the IGST Sale 18% Account.

• Select the Sales Tax Account → IGST Output 18%.

• Define Tax 3 = 18%.

• Enable Use for GST and set GST Type as IGST.

Inclusive IGST Setup:

• Choose IGST Output 18% in the Sales Tax Account column.

• Define Tax 2 = 18% and Tax 3 = 18%.

Configure Tax Types for Purchases

• Go to Setup Taxes → open Setup Tax Types (Purchase).

• Follow the same process as sales tax types.

• The only difference: link Input Accounts instead of Output Accounts.

• Save all changes.
