Ledger
Logic ERP has added a new COST ELEMENT column to the Ledger. This release also corrects the bill amount on bills with TDS and several totals in the report.
Step 1: Open the Report
Navigate to Reports/Queries and select Financial Reports.
Open the Ledger.
Step 2: COST ELEMENT column
Add the COST ELEMENT column from the report's column settings, then tick it.
It shows only the cost element of each entry. The existing COST CENTER column still shows the cost centre and the cost element together.
Opening balance rows have no cost element, so this column stays blank on those rows.
What's corrected
BILL AMOUNT now shows the full bill value on bills with TDS deducted. For example, a purchase bill of 5,150 with 1,000 TDS now shows 5,150, not 4,150. TCS is not added again, because it is already part of the bill.
BILL AMOUNT now shows the bill value as a positive figure for purchases, sales returns and credit notes too.
DEBIT + TDS AMOUNT and CREDIT + TDS AMOUNT now show the correct figure when TDS is reversed, for example on a purchase return.
The totals of DEBIT + TDS AMOUNT and CREDIT + TDS AMOUNT now equal the sum of the rows above them. TDS AMOUNT totals now show the same sign at every total level and in the grand total.
With account-wise totals switched off, the grand totals of TDS AMOUNT and UN-CLEARED AMOUNT now include every account, not only the first one.
Group totals now include the first entry of each new account, so they agree with the grand total.
The opening balance row now shows its UN-CLEARED AMOUNT and AMOUNT EXCHANGE RATE, and, when Add Opening Balance in Totals is ticked, its un-cleared amount is included in the totals.
When Add Opening Balance in Totals is ticked, agent-wise totals now include the opening balance row correctly.
