## How to Set Up Retail Customer Groups?

In this tutorial, you will learn how to **create, manage, and utilize Retail Customer Groups** in Logic ERP.\
This feature helps you **organize customers, apply group-wise discounts, and analyze performance effectively**.

### Open Retail Customer Group Setup

**To begin:**

* Go to the **Main Menu**.
* Open the **Setup Module**.
* Navigate to **Customer Database**.
* Click on **Setup Retail Customer Groups**.

* This window allows you to **create and manage customer group structures**.

### Customize Group Structure

* Right-click on any group.
* Select **Rename** to modify the group caption as required.

### Create Retail Customer Groups

* Select the desired group level.
* Click **Refresh**.
* Enter the **Group Name(s)**.

**Result:** New customer groups will appear in the **group tree structure**.

### Assign Customers to Groups

You can assign customers in two ways:

**Method 1: Allocate from Group Tree**

* Right-click on the desired group.
* Select **Allocate Items**.

* Choose multiple **Retail Customers**.

**Method 2: Assign During Customer Creation**

* Go to **Setup Retail Customer**.
* Create a **New Customer**.

**Assign Group:**

* In **Retail Customer Groups**, press **Spacebar** at the desired level.

* Save the details.

Customer is now linked to the selected group.

### Define Group-Wise Discount Defaults

You can apply **default discounts** based on customer groups.

**Steps:**

* Open **Setup Retail Customer + Group Brand Wise Discount**.
* Apply **Customer Filter**.
* Select the required **Retail Customer Group**.

* The system will display all customers under that group.

Discounts will be automatically applied for that group.

* Navigate to **Reports Section**.

* Select the desired **Retail Customer Group**.
