## How to Set the Minimum Points Required to Redeem Loyalty Points?
In this tutorial, we will learn how to configure the **Minimum Points Earned for Redemption** feature in Sales Bills. This setting allows you to define the minimum loyalty points a customer must accumulate before becoming eligible to redeem them during billing.

* Define the minimum loyalty points required for redemption
* Control when customers become eligible to redeem points
* Prevent redemption below the configured threshold
* Automatically apply redeemed points as a discount
* Improve loyalty point management during billing

### Access to the Customer Points Configuration
* Navigate to the **Set Customer Points Configuration** module.
* Locate the option labeled as:
> **"Minimum Points Earned for Redemption"**
* Define the minimum points required for redemption.
* In this example, set the minimum redemption requirement to **15 points**.
* Save the configuration.

### Understand the Loyalty Point Setup
For this example, the loyalty point settings are already configured as follows:
* **Every ₹100 spent = 1 Loyalty Point**
* **1 Loyalty Point = ₹10**
Now, let's observe how the minimum redemption limit works during Sales Bill entry.

### Generate Points Below the Minimum Limit
* Open the **Sales Bill** module.
* Create or select a **Loyalty Customer**.
* Generate a Sales Bill with a value that earns **10 loyalty points**.
* Save the bill.
Now, create another Sales Bill and search for the same customer.
**Observation**
* The customer has accumulated **10 loyalty points**.
* Since the configured minimum redemption requirement is **15 points**, the customer is **not yet eligible** to redeem the loyalty points.
**Result**
When the bill is saved:
* The redemption option is not displayed.
* The system directly opens the **Payment Mode** window.

### Accumulate the Required Points
* Now, create another Sales Bill and search for the same loyalty customer.
* The customer has now accumulated **16 loyalty points**, which is above the configured minimum of **15 points**.
**Result**
The customer is now **eligible to redeem loyalty points** during billing.
Upon saving the bill, the system displays a confirmation message showing:
* **Total Earned Points:** 16
* **Redeemable Point Value**

### Redeem Loyalty Points
* Click **Yes** on the confirmation message.
* The **Redemption Window** will open.
* Enter or select the required loyalty points for redemption.
**Result**
The redeemed loyalty points are automatically applied as a **discount** to the current Sales Bill.

If the customer's accumulated points are **below the configured minimum**, the redemption option will not be available.
Once the customer's points reach or exceed the configured limit, the **Redemption** option becomes available automatically.

After configuring **Minimum Points Earned for Redemption**, Logic ERP ensures that customers can redeem loyalty points only after reaching the defined minimum threshold. Once eligible, the system allows point redemption and automatically applies the redeemed value as a discount on the Sales Bill.
