Types of Schemes in Apparel Business

1.) Buy One Get One (BOGO) Scheme

Setup:

  • Minimum Qty = 1 or 2

  • Free Qty = 1

Result:

  • Customer Buys 2 Items → Gets 1 Free

  • Example: ₹500 total → Pay only ₹250

Now, let’s check the effect of this in billing.

  • First, create a bill with 1 Quantity.

    • You will notice that a 20% CD (Cash Discount) has been applied.

  • Next, create a bill with 2 quantities.

Setup Scheme Slab:

  • Define New Rate (e.g., ₹499)

  • Applicable on selected brand (e.g., Logic ERP)

Result:

  • Example:

    • MRP = ₹849 → Final = ₹499

4.) Free Gift Scheme

Example:

  • Shop ₹10,000 → Get Muffler Free

Setup Scheme:

  • Define Scheme Campaign

  • Define Groups

  • Define Scheme Groups

    • In both groups, select the respective groups according to your requirement.

Setup Scheme Slab:

  • Scheme Basis = Value

  • Define:

    • Minimum Value = ₹10,000

    • Free Item Group = Muffler

Result: Free item added automatically (if included in bill)

Incomplete Scheme Alert (Important Feature)

If free item is not added:

  • Enable option:

    • Go to Logic Admin → Global Settings → POS Options

    • Tick Show Incomplete Scheme Campaigns

  • Once you enable the option from Global Admin, make sure to restart the software.

  • After restarting, create a new sale bill.

    • Do not add the muffler item in the bill.

  • You will notice that the software shows an “Incomplete” prompt.

Check Schemes Before Billing

  • Use Touch Screen Window

  • Click on Schemes Button

  • If any scheme is active on the item, the scheme window will open automatically.

  • If no scheme is active, the window will not open.

Advanced Feature: Filter-Based Schemes

You can apply filters based on:

  • Item Creation Date

  • Lot Purchase Date

Setup:

  • Define Start & End Date

Result: Scheme applies only to items within selected date range

Custom Scheme Groups (Advanced Control)

Enable Custom Group:

  • Mark Custom = Yes

Configure: Define Scheme Campaign

  • As you may observe, the Group dropdown is not opening; only the Custom option is visible.

  • Next, select Item Groups from the Scheme Group Level.

Define Groups

  • After that, click on Edit Group Details.

  • Inclusion & Exclusion Logic:

    • Top Section → Included Groups

    • Bottom Section → Excluded Items/Brands

Example:

  • Apply scheme on Slim Fit Jeans

  • Exclude Allen Solly Brand.

Define Scheme Slab:

  • Let’s assume we want to give a 40% CD (Cash Discount) on a quantity of 3.

  • For this, set the Qty as 3.

  • In the Slab Value section, enter 3 Quantities.

  • Then, enter 40% in the CD field.

Result:

  • Scheme Applies To:

    • All Men Jeans

  • Except:

    • Allen Solly Brand.
