# Generate Bin Wise Delivery Orders

**YouTube:** [How to Generate Bin-Wise Delivery Orders?](https://youtu.be/8Zz1SJSDM4s)

## How to Generate Bin - Wise Delivery Orders?

In this tutorial, we will learn how to generate **Delivery Orders bin-wise** in Logic ERP.

To generate Delivery Orders bin-wise, the stock must first be reserved **bin-wise against the Sales Order**. Once the stock is reserved from specific bins, enabling the bin-wise Delivery Order option allows the system to generate the Delivery Order according to the reserved bin allocation.

***

### Reserve Stock Against the Sales Order

Before enabling the bin-wise Delivery Order option, let's first reserve stock against the required Sales Order.

* Open the **Reserve Stock Against Sales Order** window.
* To reserve stock bin-wise, open the **Configuration Settings**.
* Locate and enable the option labeled as:

> **"Reserve Stock from Bins"**

<figure><img src="https://4031188996-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FXMVkjt8zqHBQX1c9QvFS%2Fuploads%2F2vd8L2pqmzMwTHMMPbyY%2FCNF.png?alt=media&amp;token=0dd3f7fd-b17f-48a3-b9a1-2e6ae4a02b32" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

* Save the configuration changes.

***

### Reserve Stock Bin-Wise

Now, let's reserve the stock against the Sales Order.

* Select the required **Sales Order**.
* Click on **Refresh**.
* The available stock will be displayed according to the applicable bins.
* Assign the required stock from the respective bins.

<figure><img src="https://4031188996-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FXMVkjt8zqHBQX1c9QvFS%2Fuploads%2FoM3XfURaopILBPJpCshl%2FReserve.png?alt=media&amp;token=754ca8f9-5fde-497d-84da-be79e52ab1be" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

* Save the entry.

#### Important Point

For bin-wise Delivery Order generation, the stock must also be reserved **bin-wise** against the Sales Order.

If the stock is not reserved from specific bins, the Delivery Order will not be generated bin-wise, even if the bin-wise Delivery Order option is enabled.

***

### Let's Enable Bin-Wise Delivery Order Generation

Once the stock has been reserved bin-wise, let's configure the Delivery Order.

* Open the **Delivery Order Configuration** window.
* Navigate to the **General Settings** section.
* Locate and enable the option labeled as:

> **"Generate Bin Wise Delivery Orders"**

<figure><img src="https://4031188996-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FXMVkjt8zqHBQX1c9QvFS%2Fuploads%2FF6FwYVdftr6p2svyfFW1%2FCNF%202.png?alt=media&amp;token=81b347b1-25f4-4242-a991-40199bb6df6b" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

* Save the configuration changes.

***

### Generate the Delivery Order

Now, let's generate the Delivery Order using the bin-wise stock reservation.

* Open **Sales Order Selection**.
* Select the required Sales Order.
* Click on **Generate Order**.

<figure><img src="https://4031188996-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FXMVkjt8zqHBQX1c9QvFS%2Fuploads%2FhTbSuUDTu9k8PROrTZ48%2FGenerate%20DO.png?alt=media&amp;token=7a35a0ed-5217-4195-82a0-993adb1c8851" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Important Note

The **Generate Bin Wise Delivery Orders** option works only when the stock has been reserved **Bin-wise** against the Sales Order.

If the stock has not been reserved **Bin-Wise**, the Delivery Order will not be generated **bin-wise**, even when this configuration is enabled.

* Once the Delivery Order is generated, save the entry.

***

### Verify the Bin-Wise Delivery Order

Now, let's verify whether the Delivery Order has been generated bin-wise.

* Open the **Delivery Order Report**.
* Select the generated Delivery Order.
* Generate the report.

<figure><img src="https://4031188996-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FXMVkjt8zqHBQX1c9QvFS%2Fuploads%2FoKjEY6T74fVHHDRqD3Sq%2FReport.png?alt=media&amp;token=fb379ae6-0d8f-4d0e-99ca-4f89b0911a10" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### System Behavior

As you can see:

* The Delivery Order has been generated **bin-wise**.
* The corresponding **Bin Name** is displayed in the **Bin** column.
* The displayed bin information corresponds to the bins from which the stock was reserved.

***

### Key Benefits

* Generates Delivery Orders according to bin-wise stock allocation.
* Maintains consistency between stock reservation and Delivery Order generation.
* Provides clear bin-level visibility in Delivery Order reports.
* Helps improve warehouse and inventory management.
* Reduces errors during bin-wise stock dispatch.

#### Final Outcome

By enabling **"Reserve Stock from Bins"** and reserving stock bin-wise against the Sales Order, you can then enable **"Generate Bin Wise Delivery Orders"** to generate Delivery Orders according to the reserved bins. The generated bin details can be verified through the **Delivery Order Report**.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://kb.logicerp.com/logic-erp-learning-hub-tutorials-and-best-practices/order-processing/generate-delivery-orders/generate-delivery-orders-configuration/generate-bin-wise-delivery-orders.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
