## How to Configure Default Printing in Delivery Orders?

In this tutorial, we will learn how to define the **default printing configuration** for Delivery Orders. This setting allows you to automatically use the selected print design whenever a Delivery Order is printed.

### Configure the Default Print Design

To configure the default printing option:

* Open the **Delivery Order Configuration** window.
* Navigate to **Other Settings**.
* Locate the option labeled as:

* Open the dropdown list to view the available printing formats.
* Select the required print format.
* Save the configuration.

### Generate a Delivery Order

Now, initiate a new **Delivery Order** entry.

* Click on **Sales Order Selection**.
* Select the required Sales Order.
* Click on **Generate Order**.
* Save the Delivery Order.

**System Behavior**

While saving the document, the system will prompt you to print the Delivery Order.

* Click **Yes**.
* The Delivery Order will open in **Print Preview**.
* The system will automatically use the print design selected under **"Default Print Config"**.

**Note:** This prompt will appear only when the **“Print Delivery Order After Save”** option is enabled under **General Settings** in **Delivery Order Configuration**.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://kb.logicerp.com/logic-erp-learning-hub-tutorials-and-best-practices/order-processing/generate-delivery-orders/generate-delivery-orders-configuration/default-print-configuration.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
