## How to Automatically Print Barcodes After Saving in Assembling?

In this tutorial, we will learn how to automatically print a barcode label after saving an Assembly Entry in Logic ERP. By enabling the **Print Barcode After Save** option, the software prompts you to generate and print barcode labels immediately after an assembly transaction is completed.

***

### Objective of This Feature

* Automatically prompt barcode printing after saving an Assembly Entry.
* Eliminate the need to open the Barcode Printing module separately.
* Speed up barcode generation for assembled products.
* Improve warehouse and inventory management.
* Streamline the assembly workflow.

***

### Access to the Configuration

* Go to the **Assembling Module**.
* Open the **Configuration** window.
* Locate and enable the option labeled as:

> **"Print Barcode After Save"**

<figure><img src="/files/K5gTi7RT67HnGL0soFlf" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

* Save the configuration.

***

### Create an Assembly Entry

* Create a **New Assembly Entry**.
* Select the **Finished Item**.
* Enter the required assembly details.
* Verify the assembly information.
* Click **Save.**

**Print the Barcode**

* As soon as the Assembly Entry is saved, the software displays the following confirmation message:

**"Are you sure you want to print the barcode?"**

#### If You Click **Yes**

* The **Barcode Printing** window opens automatically.
* Select the required **Barcode Format**.
* Confirm the selection.

#### Result

The software instantly generates and prints the barcode label for the assembled product.

#### If You Click **No**

The software opens the barcode design window, allowing you to review the barcode layout before printing.

**Result**

You can preview the barcode design and print it later whenever required.

***

### Key Benefits

* Automates barcode generation after assembly.
* Saves time by eliminating manual navigation.
* Improves inventory identification and tracking.
* Ensures barcode labels are generated immediately after production.
* Enhances operational efficiency in assembly processes.

***

### Best Practice Tips

* Enable this feature if barcode labels are required for every assembled product.
* Verify the barcode format before printing.
* Use the preview option to review the barcode layout when necessary.
* Ensure the barcode printer is properly configured for uninterrupted printing.

***

### Final Outcome

After enabling **Print Barcode After Save**, Logic ERP automatically prompts users to print a barcode label immediately after saving an Assembly Entry. Users can either print the barcode instantly or preview the barcode design before printing, making the assembly and labeling process faster and more efficient.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://kb.logicerp.com/logic-erp-learning-hub-tutorials-and-best-practices/inventory/assembling/assembling-configuration/print-barcodes-after-save.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
