# Appointments - Link Images

**Available on:** Desktop · Web · Phone

Attach **pictures** to your stylists, customers, services and service groups. Stylist photos appear at the top of the stylist's column in the **Appointment Viewer**.

In Setup Appointments, open the menu and double-click **Configuration › Link Images**, or use the **Link Images** button in **Configuration › Settings**. (The **Configuration** menu shows only for users allowed to change the configuration of Setup Appointments.)

1. Choose what to add pictures for: **Stylists** (shown with your **Agent Caption**), **Customers**, **Services** or **Service Groups**. If there is nothing of that kind yet, you see *"Nothing found to link images to."*.
2. The **Image Manager** opens. Pick the stylist, customer, service or group in the **Item Name** list. Add a picture with **New Image** (or drop files on it, **Import** or **Image Capture**). In **Add/Edit Image** choose **Embed Image**, **Link Image** or **Image URL**.
3. Click **Save** and answer *"Are you sure you want to save images"*, then **Close**. Closing without saving discards the new pictures. Stylist photos in the open diary refresh by themselves.

You can add more than one picture, but each stylist, customer, service or group **shows one**: a web-address image is used first, then a linked file, then a stored image — and if there are several of the same kind, the newest. A linked file only shows on computers that can reach it.

> **Example.** To show Anita's photo in the diary: **Link Images** › **Stylists**, pick Anita in **Item Name**, click **New Image**, choose **Embed Image** and her photo, then **Save** and **Close**. Her column heading in the Appointment Viewer now shows the photo.

## On the web

Link Images works on the web too. In the web Image Manager, a picture linked to a file on a computer shows only its name, not the picture.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://kb.logicerp.com/logic-erp-learning-hub-tutorials-and-best-practices/billing/setup-appointments/configuration/appointments-link-images.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
