## How to Scan Items Using Qty Conversion Factors (CF) in Packing Slips?

In this tutorial, we will learn how to configure the **"Scan Qty C.F"** option in Logic ERP to control the quantity conversion factor used when scanning items during Packing Slip entry.

### Objective of This Feature

* Define the default quantity conversion factor
* Display scanned quantities according to different pack sizes
* Support CF1, CF2, and CF3 conversions
* Use lot-specific conversion factors when required
* Simplify quantity allocation during packing slip entry

### Access to the Packing Slip Configuration

* Open the **Packing Slip Configuration** window.
* Navigate to the **Other Options One** section.
* Locate the option labeled as:

> **"Scan Qty C.F"**

The dropdown provides different quantity conversion options, including:

* **Units**
* **CF1**
* **CF2**
* **CF3**
* **Lot CF**

By default, the option is set to **Units**.

### Observe the Default Units Behavior

* Initiate a new **Packing Slip** entry.
* Proceed to the **Item Details** section.
* Scan the required item code.

**Result:** The allocated quantity is displayed in **single units** based on the Units conversion.

### Configure CF1

* Return to the **Packing Slip Configuration**.
* Set **Scan Qty C.F** to **CF1**.
* Save the configuration.
* Initiate a new Packing Slip entry.
* Scan the item code.

**Result:** The allocated quantity is now displayed according to **CF1**.

**Example:**

* If the conversion is: **1 Box = 150 Tablets**

The scanned quantity is displayed as **150 units** according to the CF1 conversion.

### Configure CF2

* Return to the configuration window.
* Set **Scan Qty C.F** to **CF2**.
* Save the changes.
* Initiate a new Packing Slip entry.
* Scan the item code.

**Result:** The quantity is now displayed according to the **CF2** conversion.

**Example**

* If: **1 Strip = 10 Tablets**

The allocated quantity is displayed as **10 units**.

### Configure CF3

Similarly, if an item has a **CF3** conversion defined:

* Set **Scan Qty C.F** to **CF3**.
* Save the configuration.
* Scan the item during Packing Slip entry.

The system will display the quantity according to the **CF3 conversion** defined for that item.

### Configure Lot CF

* Return to the configuration window.
* Set **Scan Qty C.F** to **Lot CF**.
* Save the configuration.
* Initiate a new Packing Slip entry.
* Scan the required item.

**Result:** The quantity is displayed according to the **conversion factor used when the specific purchase lot was created**.

**Example**

* If the purchase lot was created using **CF1**, where: **1 Box = 150 Tablets**

then selecting **Lot CF** will display the scanned quantity according to this lot-specific conversion.

### Review Item Conversion Factors

* Open the **Setup Item Multiple Pack** window.
* Search for and select the required item.
* Navigate to **Pack Details**.
* Open the **Conversion Factors** section.

**Result:** Here, you can review all conversion factors defined for the item, including **CF1, CF2, CF3**, and other applicable pack conversions.
